White Beeswax Pellets Information

bullet Beeswax - is the oldest and purest wax in the world. White beeswax is the yellow wax bleached by being rolled very thin and exposed to the sunlight, air and moisture, or bleached by chemical oxidants. Lemon colored crude beeswax is gently melted over clean un-treated bore water and is then allowed to settle. The color is then removed using an organic and sustainable method. The beeswax is then micro filtered to remove all dross before being passed through a pelletising machine. It is practically insoluble in water. White beeswax is yellowish-white and slightly different in taste but otherwise has the same properties as yellow beeswax.

bullet Also Known As Beeswax, Cera alba, Cera Flava, Feng La, White Wax, Bleached Wax, White Beeswax.

bullet Uses - This product is used in many cosmetics, including baby creams, brilliantine hair dressings, cold cream, wax depilatories, eye creams, eye shadow, foundation creams, makeup, lipstick, mascara, nail whiteners, protective creams, and paste rouge. It helps to emulsify and thicken lotions and creams, hold together lip and body balms, and forms a protective barrier between your skin and the environment. A little melted bees wax also helps make soy candles stronger and more opaque. Bees wax can be added to soap as part of the oil content to increase hardness of the final bar.

bullet Cautions - Can cause contact dermatitis. It is considered a safe ingredient.
