Cosmetic grade Mica's are manufactured from tiny pieces of mica which have titanium dioxide and/or iron oxides fused to the surfaces. The size of the pieces will affect the reflectivity of the product, in that, the larger the particles the more 'glittery' your product will appear. These micas can be used in all your lotions, powders, creams and soaps. Use in eye products should be restricted to micas less than 4 micron in size.
