bullet Moroccan Chamomile Oil Profile General - Chamomile Morocco a handsome plant, 90-125 cm high with very hairy leaves and tubular yellow flowers, surrounded by white ligulets. Essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the flowering tops. This is one of the more recent oils to appear on the market. Native to north-west Africa and southern Spain, having probably evolved from the very common Ormenis species that grows all around the Mediterranean. Also found growing on the plains in Israel. The oil is distilled in Morocco.

bullet Moroccan Chamomile Oil Uses - Moroccan Chamomile essential oil,  Ormensis multicaulis, is one of the more recent oils to appear on the market, it does not have a long history of usage, but it is employed extensively in perfumery work, especially in colognes, chypres and fougere fragrance. Has been used in cases of depression, insomnia, menstrual problems, all skin conditions.

bullet Moroccan Chamomile oil, Ormensis multicaulis,  blends well with the following essential oils: cypress, lavender, lavandin, vetiver, cedarwood, oakmoss, labdanum and artemisia oils.

bullet Moroccan Chamomile Oil Cautions - Chamomile is a member of the daisy family, and anyone allergic to other members of the daisy family, including ragweed, should steer clear of this herb. If unsure, consult your doctor or allergist. Do not use for long periods of time. Do not use the essential oil during pregnancy because it is a uterine stimulant.

Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil Safety
Never use Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils as a substitute for necessary medical care. Keep oils tightly closed and out of reach of children. Never ingest undiluted essential oils. Don't use undiluted oils on your skin. Dilute oils with vegetable oils, one to three drops per tablespoon. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Skin test oils before using. Dilute a small amount and apply to the skin of your inner arm or back of knee. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs. If redness, burning, itching or irritation occur, stop using oil immediately. Use less rather than more.
