| General -
The tree of Palo Santo is originally from the dry tropical
forests on the coast of the South Pacific, Ecuador being the
main country where this tree is found. The Palo Santo Oil is
only concentrated and deposited in the interior of the tree
trunk. It can takes up to 10 years to produce the oil and to
get concentrated in their trunk. Only tree branches that
fall naturally from the ground are used to make this oil.
The average life of the tree of Palo Santo is between 80 and
90 years.

| Uses -
In aromatherapy, Palo Santo Essential Oil is considered to
be antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. It can
be used as part of a remedy for bronchial coughs, colds,
nasal flues, allergies and asthma. It is said to have
excellent absorption properties and can be used in massage
therapy to relieve pain and inflammation of the muscles and
joints, and regenerates skin conditions, promote skin
nutrition, healing and flexibility.
Palo Santo Essential Oil can generate states of calmness and relaxation and is beneficial for meditation, concentration, and for enhancing creativity and learning. In spiritual aromatherapy, it can be used as perfume to release negative energy and to purify and cleanse the spirit. |
